Introduction to SketchUp: 3D Modeling for Architects, Landscapers, & Interior Designers

SketchUp is a professional software program used to visualize design concepts in 3D and is utilized in design professions for a variety of purposes.  The SketchUp software allows you to build your design concepts digitally to scale and then manipulate them for use in a variety of ways; presentations, technical drawings, video fly-throughs and 3D printing. Learning the basic skills will give the student a solid foundation on which to build or take their ideas to the next level in realistic scale.

Learn the basics of SketchUp and bring your design ideas!

TECHNICAL LEVEL: Students who take this course should be very comfortable working with a Mac.

Note: Students will be assigned a computer the first day of class and are asked not to bring personal or work computers to class. To gain the most from this course, students are strongly encouraged to attend all sessions.
