Instructor: Elsbeth Todd, M.Ed., Marketing & Outreach Specialist; Architecture and Design Teacher, MVRHS

SketchUp is a professional software program used to visualize design concepts in 3D and is utilized in design professions for a variety of purposes.  The SketchUp software allows you to build your design concepts digitally to scale and then manipulate them for use in a variety of ways; presentations, technical drawings, video fly-throughs and 3D printing. Learning the basic skills will give the student a solid foundation on which to build or take their ideas to the next level in realistic scale.

Learn the basics of SketchUp and bring your design ideas!

TECHNICAL LEVEL: Ideally, students should be comfortable working with a Mac, but as long as you are comfortable with a PC, you should be fine. The application is the same in both PC and Mac.
